2018: Looking Back at an Historic Year at Aereos
2018 marked the fifth year of the Aereos family of companies, and it was an historic one. As we look forward to the exciting possibilities that 2019 has in store, lets not forget all that we have to celebrate from this memorable year.
Excitement and Milestones
At EulessAero, 2017 ended with the buzz of a new machining cell from Japan. In 2018, the new MAZAK machine was finally implemented and began working “full steam.” The machining cell also garnered national notoriety. Innovations with Ed Begley Jr. filmed the new machine at work in Euless, Texas, for its television program on Fox Business Channel. Spliced together with interviews from the same time, the television program devoted an entire segment to the remarkable machine.
Celebrating five years for Patrice Sparks as COO at ACP, 2018 proved also to be exciting for other reasons. FAA-approved repairs at ACP have been a major source of recent growth along with the expendable component repair for which ACP is known. 2019 will also mark 25 years for ACP at their home, but it doesn’t look like it! The building has been entirely renovated, portions at a time, to facilitate the additional needs of ACP and their clients. Do you have questions about FAA-approved repairs? You can learn more about them here.
Atlas Aerospace celebrated its 40th anniversary at MRO Americas this year. In such a demanding and ever-changing market, the Aereos family celebrated Atlas’ long history of quality, workmanship, reliability, excellent customer service and fast turnaround times. 2019 looks to be another year of first-class repair and overhaul of key components from the experts in Miami. Contact Atlas Aerospace to learn why its pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, fuel and electronic component customers return time and again.
A New Aereos Division Debuts
While celebrating Atlas Aerospace, Aereos also unveiled its newest offering at MRO Americas in Orlando, Florida. Aereos Defense, a new service for certain customers and clientele in this field, provides a one-stop shop for all that the Aereos divisions have to offer. Aereos Defense customers have a single point of contact that provides a seamless way to access the services of all the Aereos divisions.
Aereos divisions attended several other shows throughout the year, apart from MRO Americas. At the ACPC, Aereos had a large presence, from the inaugural Splash Pad event to the charity auction held to fight multiple sclerosis. Aereos also attended the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Boston at the end of the season.
Aereos divisions also traveled “across the pond” several times this year, participating in MRO Europe and ap&m Europe. There was also a contingent of Texas-based aerospace companies invited to the biennial Farnborough Airshow, including several Aereos divisions. EulessAero, an Aereos divisions, was recognized for their Texas-based, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility while ACP, also a member of the Aereos family of companies, showed as a premiere Texas-based DER repair shop.
